I wrapped up the wedding season with a beautiful wedding at a new venue, The Barn at Chestnut Springs.  Nestled in Sevierville, TN, it is a fabulous barn that has been built with love and no detail was over looked.  It is perfectly rustic, yet updated to meet any wedding need.  The owners were fantastic to work with and really have a heart for brides.  It was a joy to photograph there.  Thomas and Kara were so sweet and so happy to be married.  It was the perfect fall day for a wedding.

Rachael and Blaine got married at the end of September and it was such an amazing day!  I just love shooting weddings of people that I know and love.  I have known Rachael and her family for several years now and having the opportunity to photograph her wedding was such an honor.  I just adore her and she is seriously one of the most beautiful people I know.  Inside and out!  I am so happy for her and Blaine.  Their day truly was a reflection of who they are as a couple.  They were both just beaming all day and were so happy to start their lives as a married couple.

I can't believe that wedding season has come to a close.  I survived my first year shooting weddings with a baby!  Working from home with a child definitely has its' ups and downs, but overall, I couldn't have asked for a better year.  I have been blessed with this amazing boy and such great clients.  I feel really lucky.  Blogging may have taken a little bit of a hit this year, but I am on my way to get caught up!

I just had to share a few photos from a portrait session that I had the privilege of shooting a couple of weeks ago.  Nikki is a dear friend of mine from middle school, high school, and college.  We were roommates in the greatest house of all time, "graceland".  We have had so many fun times together it was just so fun to take photos of her in her mother's!! wedding dress :)  Everything about this session was perfect.  Nikki looked amazing and the light was just gorgeous.  She made such a beautiful bride.  Here are just a couple of my favorites. 

Are y'all just loving this weather?!?!  I know I am!  After the scorcher of a summer we just had, I am welcoming fall with open arms!  Although, fall is always my favorite time of year.  The weather, everything PUMPKIN, the trees, I mean, what's NOT to love?!  This next wedding was such a great way to wind down the summer wedding season.  Not only was it just a beautiful day, but this venue! Absolutely GORGEOUS!  If you are looking for a place to have a small, outdoor wedding, you absolutely need to check this place out.  It is called Willow Tree Cove and it really is one of the prettiest places I have been to.  Tara was such a stunning bride and her and Danny were so excited to get married.  It was so fun to be surrounded by all of their friends and family on their amazing wedding day.  I hope it turned out to be everything they dreamed to be!!
