ok, you might just want to sit back, relax, and get ready for a pretty long post!  i was just so excited when it worked out for me to be able to shoot lauren and tyler's wedding.  i have seen lauren grow up from this cute little middle school girl to this BEAUTIFUL woman.  lauren and i grew up in the same neighborhood together and she was good friends with my sister.  it is still a little surreal for me to see my sister's friends grow up and get married!  i feel like they should still be these little, scrawny, annoying girls, but instead they are these gorgeous and insanely cool ladies who i pretty much want to be.  lauren and tyler have such a sweet story and their love for each other is contagious.  they both went to high school together but it wasn't until a couple years ago that the lord sparked something between them.  you will probably remember them for their engagement session that i posted about a month ago.  after that session, i was even more excited for their wedding because i just knew it was going to be amazing!  sooooo....here are some of my favorites from their day!

i had such a great time photographing megan and taylor's wedding a few weeks ago.  we all went to high school together but have since gone our separate ways.  megan and taylor have been everywhere from colorado, to maryland, to africa, to d.c.  their lives and passions have taken them all over the country and the world and it has just been so fun hearing about all of their adventures.  it was such a pleasure to be able to hang out with them and capture their wedding day after years of being together.

i know that i am really lucky to have this job.  each weekend i get to hang out with people on the best day of their life.  i mean really, how fun is that!?!  and the reason that it is so fun, is because i LOVE my clients.  i have just loved getting to know jessica and jeff.  they are so much fun and just love each other!  jessica and jeff have been together for a long time and were very ready to get married!  i just love that!  it's so fun to get to document a real celebration of love!

ahhh!!!  my best friend is getting married!  maggie and i have been best friends for 12 years now.  we have gone on countless roadtrips together, lived together throughout all of college, and talk on the phone multiple times a day.  if it is something great that has happened, i call maggie.  if i am sad, i call maggie.  if i ate something that was really really good, i call maggie.  an hour later, after i feel bad for eating that really good thing, i call maggie.  she is that go-to friend that i just cannot live without.  she is cute as can be and the most fun friend you can ask for.  then, a couple years ago, maggie met will.  when i saw how happy will made maggie and how much fun they had together, i just knew it.  they were gonna get hitched.  so here we are!  2 1/2 months away from their wedding!  maggie and will live in nashville (sigh...one day i need to get her back!) so we thought it would be fun to do their engagement session there!  i felt the need to start off this post with some photos of us at our best :)

so a couple weeks ago, i had the adventure of going to place i have never been before!  i met allison and john at his parent's farm in kodak, tn.  it was so beautiful out there!  john grew up on his parents farm and they thought it would be the perfect place to get some engagement photos taken.  i have to say, they were right!  i just LOVE a good field and there were great fields, an old cool barn, an awesome truck, i mean, what more can you ask for!  after playing on the farm we headed downtown for some fun photos in the old city.  allison and john are just so fun and in love, i just can't wait til their wedding in July!
