I have made the change from Blackbird Photography to Ashley Hoskins Photography so that I will be easier to find for my clients. Nothing but the name has changed. You will still get the same personal attention and creative visual images that you are looking for!

At Ashley Hoskins Photography, it is my aim to take care of you in the best way possible. I want to capture the moments of your special day in a way that is fun, relaxed, and real.

cameron + mart. knoxville wedding

i absolutely cannot believe that we are already halfway through the month of september! so many fun and exciting things have been going on at our house that this whole year has just flown by! this next wedding is one that i have been really excited to share! i have been friends with cameron for years now. we both grew up in knoxville, and then became friends in college. she, like most of my friends, moved to nashville after college and met mart. they fell in love and 2 weeks ago, they got married! they both just have such a sweet spirit about them, that you can't help but have a smile on your face when you are around them. cameron was the happiest bride and beaming from ear to ear all day long. they had a beautiful catholic ceremony and then their reception was at one of my favorite places, the r.t. lodge in maryville. it was 78 degrees and sunny. perfect weather for a perfect day.

since cameron and mart met in nashville, their whole reception was "nashville themed" . it was so cute and done so well. the table place cards were all famous nashville landmarks.

i will tell you one thing i LOVED about shooting a catholic wedding! they have their wedding ceremonies early in the day so they can have mass on saturday evening. so cameron and mart's wedding was at 2, but they still wanted and evening reception. so we had plenty of time to take photos in between the ceremony and the reception. i know that this is really common in the midwest, my cousin's wedding was like this, but not as common in the south. it works out great for photos!!

one of the best things about r.t. lodge is their food!! it is seriously some of the best food ever. and so beautiful.

mart is italian and his family made all these beautiful cookies for guests to take home with them. they were as good as they looked!

cameron can dance! and so can all of her friends. no reception would be complete without a "beat it" performance.
