i love teddy and liz.  teddy is my husband's best friend from well, his whole life.  justin love's teddy.  so i love teddy.  and teddy loves liz.  and well, i love liz!  they are such a fabulous couple who just compliment each other so well.  they are like these two puzzle pieces that just fit together perfectly.  teddy and liz have actually been married for almost four years now but never had an engagement session and wanted to have one, so we did!  i loved doing this session with them.  after being married for such an amount of time they just had this comfort level with each other that was just so sweet.  i love the way they look at each other.  i love how much fun they have together.  ok, i think i've said it enough, i just love them!!  

i can't even tell you how much fun i had going through these photos.  you are getting ready to see one happy bride.  i knew after i shot mary beth and chad's engagement photos, that shooting their wedding was going to be amazing.  mary beth is absolutely stunning and incredible in front of the camera.  it was really hard not to get a great shot of mary beth all day because she was just so happy!  she had a smile on her face from beginning to end.  chad is so fun, and so sweet and was so excited to marry mary beth.  i originally picked out, oh 78 images to blog, seriously, but just can't do that so i have picked just SOME of my favorites and then also made a slideshow.  now, on to the photos!

so, between trying to squeeze in as many shoots as possible and then thanksgiving, i haven't had time to blog any images from mary beth and chad's wedding and wanted to do that before the weekend was over.  so here i am!  getting them in right before midnight on sunday!  i have lots more to blog about from this wedding but just couldn't wait to show you a few!  mary beth made for such a FUN, beautiful bride!  she was just a dream!  there are more to come!

i have been trying my best to get caught up on all of my blogging before the crazy holidays arrive and apologize about the delay between sessions and posts.  all that to say, i finally am getting caught up and do think that i will maybe (don't hold me to it...) reach my goal! 

engagement sessions are one of my favorite things to do.  it provides such a great time for me to get to know my clients before their wedding day that otherwise i would not have.  not only does it allow me to get to know my clients better and for them to get to know me, but it gives them a chance to know what it is like to be in front of my camera.  they get used to how i direct, or sometimes how little i direct.  they get to know what i am looking for in a shot and why i ask them to do something that they might think is silly or weird.  it gives them a chance to trust me. that way, on their wedding day, they can know what to expect.
