i just loved nicole and eric's wedding!  it was such a happy and sweet event.  it was full of family and full of love.  i have had the opportunity this year to shoot a lot of weddings of couples who have been together for a long time, and there is just something so fun about seeing these two people who know each other so well, love each other so much, finally get married.

now on to part two of ashley and matthew's nashville wedding!  as i said before, i have known the reeds' for a few years through doing young life at webb (where all the reed kids went) and also, caroline (matthew's sister) is one of my best friend's, best friend's....does that make sense?!?  anyway!  all that to say, it has been really fun getting to know ashley through the whole wedding process as well.  she is so fun, so laid back, and super easy to get along with.  there is one thing that ashley and i definitely have in common.  we both LOVE our dogs! :) as i mentioned in the rehearsal dinner post, they had dog themed table assignments, and olivia is ashley's dog.  i have always loved pugs, so for me, meeting olivia at ashley and matthew's engagement session was pretty much love at first sight.  and she did not dissapoint the day of the wedding while getting ready.  she was hilarious!  she definitely knew something was going on, and she did not know what to think about it!

the past few weeks have been crazy and have totally flown by!  i can't believe how long it has been since i have blogged an actual wedding!  this past june had to be one of the hottest months that i can remember.  i had a bunch of outdoor weddings and receptions, which i LOVE, but it was really really hot!  a few weeks ago i shot a wedding weekend in nashville at a couple of my favorite places!  the rehearsal dinner took place at the belle meade plantation.  it was such a great place for a cocktail and dinner party!  i have known matthew and the reed family for a while now through young life, so i was so excited when ashley asked me to shoot their wedding!  the weekend was full of so many great details and it all started at the rehearsal dinner.

i cannot even tell you how much i loved this wedding.  from the dress, to the details, to the location......oh, how i LOVED this location.  and the light.  oh, i just loved it all!!  brenna and her family worked so hard on this wedding, and as you are getting ready to see, it paid off!!  they did EVERYTHING themselves!  the flowers, the beautiful centerpieces, the detail.  i was just so impressed.  not to mention, i LOVE brenna and her whole family.  they just took me in and made me feel right at home the whole day.  anyway, on to the photos!

ok, you might just want to sit back, relax, and get ready for a pretty long post!  i was just so excited when it worked out for me to be able to shoot lauren and tyler's wedding.  i have seen lauren grow up from this cute little middle school girl to this BEAUTIFUL woman.  lauren and i grew up in the same neighborhood together and she was good friends with my sister.  it is still a little surreal for me to see my sister's friends grow up and get married!  i feel like they should still be these little, scrawny, annoying girls, but instead they are these gorgeous and insanely cool ladies who i pretty much want to be.  lauren and tyler have such a sweet story and their love for each other is contagious.  they both went to high school together but it wasn't until a couple years ago that the lord sparked something between them.  you will probably remember them for their engagement session that i posted about a month ago.  after that session, i was even more excited for their wedding because i just knew it was going to be amazing!  sooooo....here are some of my favorites from their day!
