This next wedding is definitely one that will not be soon forgotten.  NOT ONLY was it the hottest day in Knoxville history, topping the charts at 107 degrees, but it was a day that was filled with adorable details, sweet sweet moments, and an even sweeter appearance by an ice cream truck!!  The day was a celebration in every sense of the word.  Holly was by far the most excited bride I have ever seen on her wedding day.  She literally squealed with excitement about every 10 minutes.  It was beyond cute.  No heat, no changes of plans, NOTHING could get Holly and Justin down on their wedding day.  They were so anxious to become husband and wife surround by their friends and family that literally nothing else mattered.  That really is what a wedding should be all about.  A true celebration of love.

I haven't done one of these in a LLLOOONNGGG time!  BUT because I am nice and know my bride is super anxious to see some pics from her wedding day, I thought I would be super nice :)  I still have A LOT of catching up to do blogging wise and will continue to chip away at it, but thought I would throw in a little recent work of this beautiful wedding at the Willow Tree Cove.  This venue is beyond beautiful.  And the day was as well.  Here is just a peak of what is to come with this one :)

Although my blog my not reflect it, I have been shooting weddings all summer!!  With a new baby around the house something had to give a little and that thing ended up being blogging!  I wanted to be able to still give my customers great customer service by getting their wedding photos and engagement photos back to them in a timely manner, as well as meet with clients, and keep up with all emails, so blogging has been something that has been put on the back burner a little bit.  I am hoping to get caught up a little here and there now that Jackson is taking better naps during the day (THANK GOODNESS!!!) I am able to get a whole lot more done!!! 

Earlier this summer I shot a sweet wedding in Kentucky.  Brian and Jessica's wedding took place at the Triple Crown Country Club in Union, Kentucky.  My sister and I had such a good time being a part of their day and capturing all the sweet moments throughout.  We thank you all and your families so much for having us to Kentucky for the weekend!!!

If you are in the mood for a beautiful, sunshiny, outdoor Tennessee farm wedding full of personal touches then you have come to the right place!!  With the heat the way that it has been, it is amazing what perfect weather we had the first weekend in June.  It was about 78 degrees with a slight breeze and perfect fluffy clouds.  We seriously could not have asked for a better day!  There are so many things that I love about this wedding, but most of all I love how much heart was put into it.  It took place at the bride's parent's home in Sweetwater, Tn on their farm.  The barn was turned into the perfect place for a reception, complete with vintage quilts hanging from the walls and globe lights strung throughout the ceiling.  Here are some of my very favorites from the day!

Jordan is the head baseball coach at Webb School of Knoxville, so there were perfect baseball touches throughout the reception space that I just LOVED!

Ok, so here is the story behind the beads.  Poor Jordan has had to endure this story being told a hundred times, but it is just too cute to not share!  When Jordan was about 5 years old he made this necklace and told his mom that he wanted to give it to the most beautiful girl in the world.  After Jordan and Mary Katherine had been dating for about a year, he asked for the necklace back to give to Mary Katherine.  She kept up with it and wrapped it around her wedding bouquet....how sweet is that??  I only hope that my boy Jackson is as thoughtful and sweet as Jordan :)

I can't believe that May has come and gone and we are already one weekend into June!!  I am getting ready for a whole month full of weddings with a fabulous one just behind me.  Katie and Nick's wedding took place just a couple of weeks ago and you are going to have to forgive me for skipping a couple weddings in between with blogging, but I really wanted to get this one up by today for Katie. :)  Katie, I had such a fabulous time working with you.  You and Nick are such a gorgeous couple inside and out.  This was a very special wedding with lots of fun little detail that I can't wait for you to see.  Enjoy!!!
